London — Margalla News: Australia's Alex de Minaur stunned world No. 2 Alexander Zverev at the Laver Cup, and Learner Tien's victory helped Team World move 5-3 ahead of Team Europe.
According to Reuters, De Minaur recovered after losing the opening set to beat Zverev 2-6, 7-6(5), 11-9.
Earlier, American Learner Tien defeated Flavio Cobolli 6-3, 2-6, 10-7. The two wins overturned Europe's 3-1 overnight advantage and put Team World in front.
The 2026 Laver Cup is being played at London's O2 Arena. Match wins on the second day are worth two points, with 13 points required to win the competition.
The result was De Minaur's second straight Laver Cup victory over Zverev.
