Karachi — Police investigating the killing of teenager Rosham Hussain in Manghopir have arrested two suspects and included them in the case investigation.
According to police, the arrested men were identified as Dilawar, also known as Tariq, and Mohammad Rizwan, also known as Asif and Raju. Police said the suspects were also wanted in connection with house robberies in Manghopir, and that fake police uniforms allegedly used in criminal activity were recovered on their identification.
Police said the two men have been included in the investigation into the killing of 17-year-old Rosham Hussain, who was shot dead during a robbery in the Mehran City area of Manghopir on September 8. Further investigation is being carried out by the Special Investigation Unit and CIA officials.
Rosham Hussain's family and local residents have protested outside Manghopir police station since the killing, demanding arrests and a transparent investigation. The family had earlier said it would continue protesting until those responsible were apprehended.
Some reports attributed to police sources claim the arrested men are brothers and that further significant information has emerged during questioning, but those details could not immediately be independently confirmed.
The investigation remains ongoing, and further police details are awaited regarding the suspects' alleged roles and the evidence available against them in the case.
