An unverified casualty update has emerged from the September 25 clashes in Manguchar, Kalat district. War Monitor reported on October 1 that Sepoy Sahir Ali, who was reportedly wounded in the head during the fighting, later died from his injuries.
The report says Sahir Ali was a resident of Shakargarh in Narowal district. Pakistan's military, ISPR and other authorities have not publicly announced this specific death, and his identity, injury and reported death have not been independently verified.
Separate regional reporting and BLF-linked material place the Manguchar blockade and clashes on September 25. The BLF claimed that its KAAD unit attacked military reinforcements in the area and alleged that three soldiers were killed and several others wounded. Those militant casualty claims also remain independently unverified.
A separate BLF-linked blockade was reported in Dasht-e-Goran, Kalat, on September 29. For that reason, Sahir Ali's reported injury is being tied to the September 25 Manguchar clashes rather than the September 29 event.
Until Pakistani authorities or a reliable independent source confirms the death, Sahir Ali's reported fatality remains an unverified casualty report rather than an officially acknowledged military death.
