Afghan and Iranian officials have discussed cooperation on Afghanistan’s oil and gas needs, technical training and joint energy exploration.
Afghan state bodies said Ahmad Jan Bilal met Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad, with Afghan Oil and Gas Corporation chief Mohammad Nasir Rahimi also taking part.
The talks covered fuel supply, technical training and joint exploration. Joint technical teams were assigned to follow up. No final supply volume, price or new commercial contract was announced.
