Afghanistan’s Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development says a drinking-water supply network has been completed in Maidan village of Balkh district, Balkh province.

State-run Bakhtar News Agency, citing the ministry, reported that the project cost 9.3 million afghanis and provides drinking-water access to 363 families.

The ministry said the construction work also provided temporary employment for dozens of local workers. The project figures are based on the ministry’s official statement.
