Reports of heavy shelling by security forces have emerged from the Para Chamkani area of central Kurram.
According to local sources, a mortar shell allegedly fired by security forces in the Tandoori area of central Kurram struck a house, seriously injuring two members of the Ali Sherzai tribe.
The injured were identified as Zahir, son of Wali Khan, and Nasir, son of Gul Bat Khan.
