Security sources report four militants killed in Panjgur operation

Pakistani security sources said four alleged militants were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Panjgur district. State media and other Pakistani outlets said the operation was carried out in the Aphan-e-Koh and Prom areas after information about the presence of armed militants, followed by an exchange of fire. Security sources also reported the recovery of weapons and ammunition. Some non-official monitoring accounts described those killed as TTP members, but the public official accounts reviewed did not make that attribution. Security sources instead used a separate official label and linked the men to a banned armed organisation. The identities and organisational affiliations of those killed were not independently confirmed. The operation was reported on September 21, with further coverage continuing on September 22.
