U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly on September 22, Reuters reported.
Trump is expected to meet at least 11 leaders or groups of leaders during the day, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and representatives from Gulf states.
Reuters reported that the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, as well as tensions involving Iran, are expected to be central topics across the meetings.
Trump is also due to meet leaders from Britain, Denmark, Greenland and Venezuela, among others.
At the time of this report, these were scheduled diplomatic engagements. No outcome, agreement or joint declaration should be inferred before the meetings take place and official statements are issued.
The schedule reflects the concentration of high-level diplomacy around the UN General Assembly, but each meeting may produce different results or no formal agreement at all.
