Karachi-Rohri $2.5bn Rail Track Set for 2027 Start
Pakistan Railways will lay a new 480-km track between Karachi and Rohri at a cost of $2.5 billion as the first phase of ML-1, with civil work likely to begin in January 2027, Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi told the National Assembly on Thursday, October 22.
