Tehran — Margalla News: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said negotiations are the path out of Iran's current conflict with the United States and Israel, while stressing that Tehran's conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz remain unchanged.
In remarks reported on Sunday, Araghchi said Iran's conditions were clear and that any move toward reopening the waterway depended on those conditions being met.
He said only a negotiated solution could break the current deadlock.
Iran has previously said it could move to reopen Hormuz if the United States eases military pressure and lifts restrictions or a blockade affecting Iranian ports.
The remarks represent Iran's stated diplomatic position; no timetable for an agreement or full reopening of the Strait has been established.
