Islamabad — Margalla News: Four of Pakistan's major local refineries have signed formal technology-upgrade agreements with the government.
Dawn reported that Attock Refinery, National Refinery, Pakistan Refinery and Cnergyico Petroleum are expected to invest about $5 billion over five years under the programme.
The upgrades are intended to produce cleaner Euro-V fuels, increase local petrol and diesel output and reduce furnace-oil production.
