Riyadh — Margalla News: The military chiefs of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkiye have agreed to deepen military and intelligence cooperation under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement.
The Saudi Ministry of Defense said the talks in Riyadh covered closer coordination, integration of defensive capabilities and collective defence.
The three sides reaffirmed their commitment to protect Saudi Arabia's security, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, signed in August, states that an armed attack on one member is to be regarded as an attack on all three.
The Riyadh meeting was described as part of efforts to translate the pact into practical military cooperation.
