Nisshin — Afghanistan will face India in the men’s cricket quarter-final at the 2026 Asian Games on September 28.
The International Cricket Council says Afghanistan advanced from Group A, while India entered directly at the quarter-final stage based on their ranking.
The match is scheduled at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin, Japan.
Afghanistan beat Japan in the group stage but lost to Nepal by five wickets. The quarter-final lineup was finalized after Nepal’s final group match against Japan ended without a result because of rain.
Pakistan and Hong Kong are also scheduled to play a quarter-final on September 28, with the remaining two quarter-finals set for September 29.
