The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for 13 operations carried out across Balochistan between September 7 and 29, 2026. A statement attributed to spokesman Major Gwahram Baloch described attacks on security personnel, temporary highway blockades, vehicle searches and the killing of two civilians. The claims have not been independently verified.

The group claimed that an explosive attack on a military post in Mehir, Mand, on September 24 killed one security member and seriously wounded another. It also claimed that an attack on personnel guarding a military convoy in Baloch Abad, Mand, the same day killed another member and damaged a military vehicle.

The BLF further claimed that an attack on a post at Balbal Salman Jhao in Khuzdar on September 22 killed one security member and wounded another. It also said a sniper killed a security member at a post in Senidi, Mashkay, on September 15. The statement therefore contains at least four separate claims of security personnel being killed, while other attacks were said to have caused unspecified casualties.

The statement also referred to an alleged ambush on a security convoy in Rousto, Wadh, on September 21, an attack on a post in Siyah Damb, Jhao, on September 28, and a grenade-launcher attack in Bazdad, Awaran, on September 29. The BLF claimed casualties or damage in those incidents without giving complete figures.

The group also claimed temporary control of roads. It said fighters blocked the Quetta-Karachi highway at Mill in Surab for more than five hours on September 29 and searched vehicles. It made similar claims about the main highway in Mand on September 28 and Rek Bazaar, Mand, on September 25, where it said some freight vehicles were stopped and damaged.

The BLF separately accepted responsibility for killing two men. It said Nusrat Tagapi, also known as Sanjo, was detained near Kharan city on September 16 and killed at Muskan in Kalat on September 24. It also accepted responsibility for the September 7 killing of Samiullah, son of Shafiullah, from Khuzdar.

The group accused both men of activities against the Baloch separatist movement and of links to state security structures, and said they had been sentenced by what it calls a “Baloch national court.” There is no independent, state or judicial verification of that process, and the allegations against the two men have not been independently established.

Pakistani authorities did not immediately issue a comprehensive public response to the full statement. The operation count, casualty claims and accusations against the two civilians are therefore being reported as BLF claims rather than established facts.
