Karachi fire safety audit finds 162 buildings non-compliant

Provincial disaster management data shows that 162 Karachi buildings remain non-compliant with fire safety requirements.

Officials have identified 907 buildings for scrutiny, with many still awaiting reinspection. Authorities also called for closer checks of hospitals, industrial sites and schools.
