CHAGAI: According to War Monitor, unidentified armed men destroyed the Yak Mach police station in Balochistan's Chagai district with explosives early on Thursday, October 15. The report has not yet been independently verified.
War Monitor, citing local sources, said the attack took place at about 4:30 a.m., causing extensive damage and reportedly destroying the police station building.
Police personnel had reportedly evacuated the station overnight over concerns about a possible attack. No casualties have been confirmed.
War Monitor said the identity of the attackers and the motive remained unknown, and no group had been reported as claiming responsibility.
Balochistan Police and the provincial government have not so far issued a public statement. Chagai district borders both Iran and Afghanistan.
