Islamabad — The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has ordered physical inspections of backup power systems at mobile-network towers.
Dawn reports the checks will cover nine zones and examine batteries, generators and solar backup arrangements. The stated aim is to improve mobile-service continuity and network resilience during electricity outages.
