Tank — Three traffic police personnel were killed when gunmen opened fire on a police mobile van in Wazirabad Bazaar, Tank district, police said.
An assistant sub-inspector and two passers-by were also injured. Police said the attackers fled with the police vehicle; a later report said it was recovered.
A search operation was launched. No group had claimed responsibility at publication time, so the attack is not being attributed to any organisation.
