Afghanistan's Under-19 cricket team will play seven one-day matches against Bangladesh and Oman in October as preparation for the Under-19 Asia Cup. Pajhwok, citing the Afghanistan Cricket Board, reported that the team will travel to Oman on October 10.

The Afghan side will play five ODIs against Bangladesh Under-19 from October 13 to 23. It will then face Oman Under-19 in two ODIs on October 27 and 30.

The matches are intended to prepare the squad for the 2026 Under-19 Asia Cup, scheduled to begin in Oman in early November. The ACB has named a 15-player squad led by captain Sohail Khan, with three reserve players also listed. The series gives the team several competitive matches before the regional tournament begins.
