Police in the Belmont section of the Bronx found 37-year-old Christopher Osborne dead inside his apartment during a welfare check, ABC7 New York reported.
Officers found Osborne unconscious with multiple stab wounds, including injuries to his torso, arm, hand and back. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of the October 2 report, no arrests had been made and investigators had not established a motive. The investigation remains ongoing.
