Mozilla and Mistral have announced an AI partnership around the Firefox Smart Window beta.
The companies say Mistral Small 4 will power the browser’s AI assistant for users in the United States and Canada, while beta access and French-language support expand in France. The United Kingdom and Germany are expected to follow later.
The partnership is being positioned around open models, privacy, multilingual capability and regional language context.
