Faction said to pledge allegiance to Hafiz Gul Bahadur
Separately, War Monitor said a statement attributed to Tehrik-e-Taliban Ghazwa-e-Hind (TTG) claimed that a faction of Ittehad-ul-Mujahideen Pakistan (IMP), led by Molvi Farooqi from Quetta's Panjpai area, had pledged allegiance to militant commander Hafiz Gul Bahadur.
Neither the attacks nor the allegiance announcement could be independently confirmed straight away, and there has been no official statement from the police or the army.
