Taken at gunpoint from Baloch Abad
Citing local reports, War Monitor said four armed men on two motorcycles took Aurangzeb Majid at gunpoint from Baloch Abad village. Nothing is known yet about the identity or motive of the kidnappers, and no group has claimed responsibility.
Police did not immediately issue an official statement, and it is not clear whether anyone has contacted the family.
Claim of seized rations in Nushki
In a separate incident, War Monitor cited local sources as saying Baloch insurgents seized ration supplies reportedly meant for security forces during a blockade in the Taariz area of Nushki district. There has been no response to the claim from security officials.
Neither incident has been independently verified. Kech, Nushki and several other Balochistan districts have seen frequent reports of abductions and attacks in recent weeks.
