Wana — Margalla News: Two men were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Wana tehsil of Lower South Waziristan, including a clerk from the health department.
Police said the victims were travelling by motorcycle from Wana Rustam Bazaar towards Sheen Warsak when gunmen opened fire near Gangikhel Stop.
The dead were identified as Abdullah and Nawar Khan. Police said Abdullah worked as a clerk at the district health office in Wana.
The attackers fled after the shooting and police opened an investigation.
Police said they had also received information about a possible land dispute involving the victims and were examining multiple angles to establish the motive.
No armed group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
