Afghanistan’s Ministry of Urban Development and Housing says residential plots have been distributed to 73,102 returning migrant families across the country under a permanent-settlement programme. The ministry said distribution continues in several provinces.
During the past week, 1,285 families received plots, including 800 in Nangarhar, 450 in Kunduz and 35 in Samangan. The figures are attributed to the ministry’s official statement.
