Kabul — Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Health says it inspected 75 pharmaceutical import companies across Kabul.
The ministry said 67 of the companies were assessed using standardized checklists.
Three companies were closed for violating health regulations, one received an official warning and medicines and health products from another company were quarantined pending legal documentation.
The inspections were carried out as part of regulatory oversight of medicine imports and health standards.
The ministry’s statement did not publicly name the three companies that were closed.
