According to War Monitor, Baloch Liberation Voice (BLV) has circulated a statement attributed to its spokesperson Azad Baloch, claiming that 14 Pakistani security personnel and three of the group's fighters were killed in an armed clash in Muhammad Kheli, Panjpai, Balochistan, on September 25.
A ten-hour battle, the group claims
The statement says the fighting began at around 6am and lasted until 4pm, and alleges that security forces used a large deployment and drone support. It named two of the dead fighters as Abdul Hameed alias Bilali Baloch from Nushki and Naseeb alias Asad Baloch from Mangocher; the third was not identified. The group said all three joined in 2023.
War Monitor said the casualty figures, the circumstances of the clash and the affiliation of those killed have not been independently confirmed. The report included no response from security officials.
BLA profiles five members
On the same day the proscribed Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) released profiles of five members it says were killed in separate clashes in Chagai, Ziarat and Panjgur between August and September 2026.
According to the group, Isaq Shoukat alias Meeran Baloch of Hoshab was killed in Siya Chang, Chagai, on September 18; Amanullah Mengal of Nushki in Ziarat on August 8; and Sanaullah Baloch of Panjgur, Ali Baloch of Buleda and Ikhtayar Baloch from Sindh in Paroom, Panjgur, on September 19.
War Monitor noted that the announcements concern deaths on different dates rather than a single incident, and that the BLA's account has not been independently verified.
