One person was reportedly injured in a quadcopter strike in the Basti Jotar area of Taunsa Sharif in south Punjab.
According to sources, the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility, alleging that the injured person belonged to a local Aman Force, or peace committee.
The identity and condition of the injured person, and the circumstances of the strike, remain unclear, and no statement from local authorities has emerged.
In a separate statement on the same day, the TTP accused members of local peace committees in Wahowa and surrounding areas of theft, intimidation, damaging property and harassing residents. The group claimed local elders and residents had complained about the committees and urged people to oppose them. Sources said the allegations have not been independently substantiated and no response from the accused groups or authorities was available, though the statement has raised fears of further tension in the area.
Sources also said that the TTP's Dawat and Irshad department released the first episode of a new video series called Nida-e-Haq (Call of Truth). The group said it shows the end of a 15-day religious training programme for around 70 members in Tank district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, run by Maulvi Muhammadi Haqqani. The attendance, location and details have not been independently verified.
In Balochistan, the banned Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) released footage it says shows its fighters clashing with security forces inside a Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) compound. In the video, a woman described as a BLF member claims security forces made three failed attempts to clear the building, according to sources. The footage's location, authenticity and claims have not been verified, and no official response was immediately available.
