Explosions destroyed two electricity transmission towers near Dera Murad Jamali in Balochistan's Nasirabad district on Saturday, according to sources. The towers carried power from the Uch Power Plant, though the extent of any disruption to supplies was not immediately clear, and no group has claimed responsibility.
Separately, bodies were recovered at three locations in the province's Makran division. In Pasni, the bullet-riddled body of a young man was found near Talar Hotel on the Kalanch Link Road, sources said. A note bearing the name "Rehan" was reportedly found in his pocket, but police have not confirmed his identity.
In Turbat, police recovered a man's body from a stream in the Josak area and moved it to hospital. Initial reports indicate gunshot wounds, and a pistol was reportedly found at the scene. Police are investigating.
The third body was found in Hoshakabad, between Kohar and Rodban in Tump, and was identified as Bilal, son of Hanif, a resident of Kohar. Local sources made allegations about his disappearance that could not be independently verified, and no official response was available. Authorities have not released details on the circumstances of the three deaths or on who was behind the tower explosions.
