QUETTA: According to War Monitor, Rakhshan Division Commissioner Asadullah Kakar was reportedly abducted by unidentified armed men during a road blockade in the Brushonki area on the Kharan–Quetta highway.
Local sources said Kakar was travelling to Kharan to assume charge of his new post when he was intercepted.
His whereabouts and the identity of the abductors remain unknown.
