ORAKZAI: According to War Monitor, three suspected members of the banned Lashkar-e-Islam group were killed during a security forces operation in the Sangri Bazaar area of Orakzai district.
Local reports say armed members of the group had set up their own checkpoint in the market before security forces moved in.
The identities of those killed and details of the operation have not been released, and no official statement has been issued. Independent verification of the incident is still pending.
