Nuristan — Margalla News: Construction has begun on a new bridge in Barg-e-Matal district at a reported cost of nearly AFN 31 million.
Bakhtar News Agency said the bridge will be 30 metres long and eight metres wide, while the project also includes construction of a 340-metre road.
Provincial officials said the project is expected to improve access for residents of 35 villages in the district.
