Nuristan — Margalla News: Hurriyat Radio has reported, citing sources it described as reliable, that Afghan border forces are conducting operations near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Kamdesh district of Nuristan province.
According to those sources, 25 armed men were killed and around 20 others were captured alive during the operations.
The sources claimed the armed group was attempting to cross the border and enter the area for disruptive operations, but was stopped by Afghan border forces.
The same report also alleged that the armed men had been sent from Pakistan.
