The Afghan Red Crescent Society says its medical staff provided healthcare services to 2,137 outpatients across districts and villages in Uruzgan over the past 30 days. Services included checkups, essential medicines, wound dressing, vaccinations, health consultations and treatment for malnourished children.
ARCS said a further 286 people received maternal and child healthcare services during the same period. The figures are attributed to the organization’s official statement.
