Afghanistan’s Food and Drug Authority says its quality-control laboratory tested 3,464 samples of medicines, food and water in September 2026. The total included 3,318 medicine samples, 116 food samples and 30 water samples.
The ministry said 3,144 samples met required standards, 109 were non-compliant, 42 were rejected and 169 medicine samples were registered for re-evaluation.
