Ten private health facilities closed in Balkh inspection

Six pharmacies, three consultation clinics and one laboratory were closed in Sholgara, while 246 cartons of expired or substandard medicines were seized.

Balkh’s provincial public health authorities closed six pharmacies, three medical consultation clinics and one laboratory in Sholgara district for violations of health regulations.

The Ministry of Public Health said inspectors also collected 246 cartons of expired and substandard medicines and transferred them to a designated site for disposal.
