Karachi — Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon inaugurated the Mosamiyat Flyover on September 27, marking another completed component of Karachi's Red Line Bus Rapid Transit project.
Before the ceremony, officials briefed the minister on ongoing construction across the corridor.
Memon said most work on University Road had reached its final stages and set a target of completing the remaining related work within two months.
Authorities said the flyover would be opened to motorists after final opening formalities. Some BRT stations and other corridor works remain under construction.
The Red Line BRT is one of Karachi's major public transport projects and is being implemented by the Sindh government with support from international development partners.
