Afghanistan’s Ministry of Mines and Petroleum signed a memorandum of understanding with Fine Star Group and Azra Green Stone to transfer and install a standard lead and zinc processing plant. The ministry said the aim is to promote investment in mineral processing and expand domestic processing capacity.
Minister Hedayatullah Badri said the ministry was prepared to facilitate private investment in mineral extraction, processing and related industrial plants. The companies committed to implementing the MoU.
